01

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TravelON Eats ("we", "us", or "the Platform") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you register an account, manage listings, or otherwise interact with our service. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data protection law.

02

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, business name, business address, phone number, and listing content (such as descriptions, photos, opening hours, and location). We also collect account credentials and records of your subscription plan. When you make a payment, billing details are handled by our payment processor — we never store your full card number on our servers.

03

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to create and manage your account, publish and display your business listings to travellers, process subscription payments, provide customer support, send service-related communications, and improve the Platform. We process this data on the legal bases of performing our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate business interests.

04

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are not stored on our servers. We retain only the records necessary to manage your subscription, such as plan type, billing dates, and transaction references. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.

05

Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, maintain your session, and secure the Platform. We may also use limited analytics to understand how the Platform is used and to improve our service. We do not use cookies to sell your data or to serve third-party advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.

06

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform — such as our payment processor (Stripe), email delivery provider, and hosting infrastructure — and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. Your public listing content is, by design, visible to travellers using the TravelON application. We may also disclose data where required by law.

07

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as billing and tax records) to comply with legal obligations.

08

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

09

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted connections, restricted access controls, and secure handling of payment data through Stripe. While no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, we work continuously to safeguard your information.

10

Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for business owners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes via email.
