Wapa Tapa

WAPA TAPA is a family-run restaurant bar specialized in Spanish and international tapas, located within the heart of the legendary Yumbo Centre in Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria). 

From classic wrinkled potatoes to the most innovative creations each tapa is thoughtfully prepared using time-honored recipes, crafted with love and an artisan’s touch. One of the defining features of this establishment is its unwavering dedication to using only natural products. Locally sourced and organic ingredients take center stage, ensuring unparalleled freshness.

The business  first opened its doors in January 2013, a short distance away from the current premises. In April 2025 Michael Deutsch and Michael Fleig took over and happily manage the restaurant with the fabulous Wapa Tapa Team.
